Step 1: Place the breast on the cutting board and slice it horizontally from the middle. This way, you should get 2 slices of chicken breast from one whole breast piece.
Step 2: Cut the chicken breast slices into small pieces. They should be of nugget size.
Step 3: Coat the chicken with salt, pepper, thyme, onion and garlic powder and keep it aside for at least 10 mins.
Step 4: Take the chicken piece and dip it in the egg. Remove the excess and roll it in bread crumbs. The bread crumbs should be uniformly spread across each piece.
Note: If you are making a big batch of chicken nuggets, then after coating them with bread crumbs put them in an airtight container to deep freeze it.
Step 5: Heat the oil in a skillet and place the chicken nugget in it once the oil is hot.
Step 6: Serve hot and tasty chicken nuggets with mayo on the side.
