The Caramel Bread Pudding was created centuries ago and apparently, it was called the poor man’s pudding at that time because it was made using leftover bread. The origin of this pudding maybe humble but it is nothing short of spectacular. The pudding won my heart with its good looks the first time I laid my eyes on it several years ago. It sat there on the table all golden and studded with nuts, and when I dug my spoon into it and transported some of it into my mouth, it was magical! Here is the Caramel Bread Pudding recipe.

While this bread pudding definitely looks and tastes great, it is also quite nourishing. Easy to whip up, this pudding can be served as a snack too to satiate the ever-growing hunger of growing children. The above recipe is a basic recipe for this bread pudding. You can enrich it further by using richer bread and also by adding cream or fruits to the recipe.
